(Welcome, welcome. Meet Barbara Depta, part of our ever-expanding team of experts focused on helping families live their best lives. Barbara will occasionally contribute articles on whole-body care and how athletes connect body to mind.)
I’m Barbara (Basia) Depta—an immigrant from Racibórz, Poland who arrived in the U.S. on a student visa 22 years ago with a duffel bag, a work ethic, and a love for the human body. A former athlete, I became one of the first fascia stretch specialists in the U.S. (2010) and spent 15+ years caring for some of the most demanding bodies on earth across the NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, PGA/LPGA, and MMA.
Working that close to performance athletes taught me two truths: recovery drives results, and what you put in your body matters. In 2014 I began studying “reds” like aronia berry, red spinach, and beets for circulation and inflammation support. After research trips (including Geneva in 2015) and clinical analyses, I launched Resync in 2017—a plant-based line designed to support heart health, vascular function, and steady energy (without caffeine).
My “why” turned personal at 43, when a surprise scan revealed an 80% blockage in my Left Anterior Descending artery (“widowmaker”). Partnering with my doctors—and doubling down on nutrition and lifestyle—I improved my markers by ~50% in three months. That experience sharpened my mission: help people protect their hearts, recover better, and live with more vitality.
Whether you’re raising kids, running a household, or balancing your own career, you deserve products that keep your heart strong, your energy steady, and your recovery intact, without the burnout or compromise.
From professional athletes to everyday moms, I believe we all deserve to feel resilient, vibrant, and truly supported.
